My name is Houghton, and I will be your guide for moving to Santa Barbara. My husband and I moved here in June of 2009 with our new baby and our dog. We had come to visit friends nine months earlier, and it didn’t take long (maybe 3 days) to realize that this was where we wanted to live and raise our family. We fell in love with the small town, active lifestyle, near-perfect weather, and breathtaking scenery. We packed up our life in Atlanta, drove to Santa Barbara, and have never looked back! Now, when we travel, whether it’s visiting family or taking a vacation, we are always happy to return home, to Santa Barbara.
